It has been such a long time since my last post. I was busy with exams and reports but now I am FREEE!!
SO basically there is a HUGE (literally) list of stuff that I have to share with all of you, but I will start with the ones that people have asked me to write about and have been waiting for quite some time. Today I will be reviewing Body Shop's Born Lippy in SATSUMA SHIMMER.
Since winters are here, it is a time when we all are worried about chapped lips. I have been using this product since summers and I love it in summers as well.
What Body Shop says about Satsuma Shimmer Born Lippy;
Erm "the can't resist pout" is an overstatement. Yes, it has shimmer and a dash of orange color but it does NOT make your lips stand out or anything close. It gives sheer color to lips, like really sheer. The smell is like the covering of Orange. I used to hate this smell but I kind of like it now which is why I purchased it.
The amount of shimmer is just enough, neither too much nor too less. I like that the shimmer is not in excess, the amount of shimmer gives a shiny look to lips without making lips greasy.
The satsuma born lippy is 10 ml and comes in a small plastic tub. The amount is so generous that you can use it for an entire year, perhaps more. What I love about the product is that it keeps my lips soft and smooth, plus it gives a slight color to my lips which looks amazingly natural.
The Satsuma shimmer born lippy stays for about 4-5 hours on my lips which is good considering nothing stays on my lips for more than 2 hours. I love to pair this up with Color Studio's Color Rush Lipstick in Jet Setter. It looks amazing regardless of the time of the day.
I got this for PKR 540 I think from The Body Shop at ParkTowers, Karachi. This is an amazing lip balm not just for winters, but for summers as well. This takes care of your lips. I apply it everyday religiously and for the first time in winters I have not had a problem of chapped lips! I would purchase this again but in some other flavour :P
